As you know, Whizzbangers Ball is a music festival set in nature’s playground. Naturally, it just makes sense we provide access and excitement to the great outdoors. For all you outdoors enthusiasts come join us in the Mossy Oak Pavilion. The pavilion is situated within the merchant market and just steps away from the lake. The pavilion features Mossy Oak and Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO), as well as the Fishing Derby and Archery Contest sign-up desk, and West Virginia DNR.

Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) Retail Experience

Celebrate 25 years of relaxation with ENO at Whizzbangers Ball! Stop by the ENO area for exclusive event sales, to demo their latest gear, and get a glimpse at new products before they launch! Product specialists will be onsite to answer your questions and products will be available for purchase.

Ugly Stik Demo Area

Dive into the world of fishing with the Ugly Stik Demo Area where attendees can try out high-quality Ugly Stik rod and reels. Check out some of the gear that is on display in the pavilion and then head down to the lake to try your hand at catching a fish with one of the Ugly Stik products on display including Mossy Oak Camo Combo, the GX2 Spincast, the Tuff Spincast, the Elite 6’6” MH Baitcast, and for the kids, the Ugly Tuff Spincast or Spinning rod.

Fishing Derby Sign-Up & Check-In Desk

The Fishing Derby runs from Thursday afternoon to Saturday at 5:00 pm. Anglers can test their skills in two stocked lakes with prized catches like largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and striped bass. The derby is free and open to all. Simply sign in at the deck, get a measuring stick, and start fishing. Take a photo of your catch with the measuring stick and bring it back to check-in. Prizes will be awarded for the largest Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, and Striped Bass in each age group: 10 and under, 11 to 17, and 18 and over. Participants must bring their own fishing gear. Prizes include an Ugly Stick rod and reel combo, gear from Mossy Oak and onX, and a signed Whizzbangers Ball Festival poster. Winners will be announced live from the stage Saturday evening.

Registration is free to all attendees and must be done in person at the Mossy Oak Pavilion.

Archery Contest Sign-Up Desk

Calling all kids 17 and under! Join us for the Kids Archery Contest on Saturday afternoon starting at 5:00 pm. Participation is free, but space is limited, so sign up at the Mossy Oak Pavilion. The contest has three heats for different age brackets: elementary, middle, and high school with 32 participants per heat. Each participant will get a chance to shoot and be scored by our team. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners in each age group. Prizes include gear from Mossy Oak and onX, and a signed Whizzbangers Ball Festival poster. Winners will be announced live from the stage Saturday evening.

Registration is first-come, first-served and must be done in person at the Mossy Oak Pavilion.

West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (DNR)

Engage with knowledgeable representatives from the West Virginia DNR at their information booth. They will provide a wealth of resources, including regulations, brochures, and other informative materials, and will be available to discuss the state’s outdoor recreation opportunities, wildlife management, and conservation programs. You can also conveniently purchase hunting and fishing licenses at their dedicated sale kiosk. For families and young enthusiasts, the kids activity area offers hands-on experiences such as identifying furs, skulls, tracks, and more, making it a fun and educational stop for all ages.
