General Information

Tickets

  • Where can I buy tickets?

    Tickets are only available through our website. Ensure authenticity by purchasing tickets exclusively through our official website. No tickets will be available through third-party sellers.

  • Can I purchase tickets onsite?

    No, tickets are only available for purchase online, prior to arrival. All attendees must present a valid ticket when entering the property. Tickets are not available for purchase onsite.

  • I did not get my ticket confirmation email, what should I do?

    You can access your order and your tickets on the My Account page. Use your email and password to access your account. If you do not have your password, you can reset it from the My Account login page.

  • Where can I review my tickets once purchased?

    Once you have purchased your tickets, a personal account will be created for you. Here you will be able to review your tickets, as well as add additional activities to your weekend adventure. To log in to your personal account, click here.

  • Can I get my ticket purchase refunded?

    All sales are final. We understand plans may change, but all ticket sales are final, and refunds are not available.

  • Can I transfer my tickets?

    Tickets are not transferable. Contact us directly if you wish to transfer your tickets to another individual.

Entry and Security

  • When can I enter the festival?

    Ticket holders are welcome to enter the property after 12pm on Thursday, June 13. Come early and enjoy the property. All camping passes are good from Thursday to Sunday.

  • What items are prohibited?

    Firearms, illegal drugs, nitrous oxide and alcohol brought onto the property are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in removal without a refund.

  • Can attendees be removed from the festival?

    We reserve the right to remove individuals from the property for violations of our policies, with no refund provided.

  • Are service animals allowed?

    Only certified service animals are allowed on the premises. This does not include emotional support animals or any other pets or dogs.

  • What security measures are in place?

    The festival has security staff in place as well as county sheriff representation. The festival security team will be present during the day, during the concert, and overnight. A security officer will be stationed in the pavilions in Camp C and Camp D all night, as well as a patrol vehicle that will roam throughout the property.

Activities and Events

Food and Drink

  • Is food available at the festival?

    Yes, food trucks and caterers will be on-site selling food throughout the day on Friday and Saturday. See our list here.

  • Will alcohol be available for sale at the festival?

    Yes, we will have bars set up in the stadium from 5:30pm until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. All attendees will be required to have their ID checked prior and will receive a bracelet which is required to be worn to purchase or consumer alcohol at the festival.

  • Can I bring a cooler or glass containers in the stadium?

    No, for safety reasons, coolers and glass containers of any type are prohibited inside the stadium.

  • Can I bring outside food or drink into the stadium?

    No, outside food or drink is prohibited within the stadium.

  • Can I cook in my camp spot?

    Yes, you are allowed to cook at your campsite. You are welcome to use a small camp stove and propane grills/Blackstones. Please keep in mind that the sites are primitive/field camping, and the property requests that the grass is not burned by camp stoves or fire pits.

  • Are there water refill stations?

    Yes, several water refill stations are situated throughout the property. Feel free to bring your favorite reusable bottle or purchase one from our amazing vendors.

  • Store Your Food Safely

    Please plan to have your food in a bin that you can lock in your vehicle or somewhere inaccessible to wildlife (bears, skunks, etc.). Wildlife is VERY active on site at the Summit.

Accessibility

  • Is the festival site accessible for people with disabilities?

    Summit Bechtel Reserve is accessible. However, please be aware the festival area does have steep terrain and gravel pathways. There is ADA parking near the stadium and a service that will help transfer our guests to a dedicated ADA viewing deck in the stadium. 

  • Are service animals allowed?

    Yes, service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities are permitted. No emotional support animals are permitted on the property.

  • Can I leave and re-enter the festival?

    Yes, each attendee will receive a Whizzbangers Ball bracelet when they arrive on property. This will allow them full access to the property. If you leave, you will need to show this bracelet to return. 

Accommodation

  • What are the on-site camping options?

    Whizzbangers Ball has a plethora of camping options available for attendees. From general 20×20 camping spaces near your vehicle to quiet, family-friendly camping spots, and 20×60 RV areas to ADA compliant camping locations. See all camping options here.

  • Bring Camping Gear

    If you plan to camp, please bring necessary supplies such as coolers, camp stoves, tents, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, camp kitchen (stove, pots, pans, dishwashing supplies, etc.), lanterns, and headlamps. This is an independent camping experience similar to camping at a state park.

  • Are we allowed to have campfires in our campsite?

    Campfires are also allowed, provided they use propane or are contained in raised rings, such as a Solo Stove. Please keep in mind that the sites are primitive/field camping, and the property requests that the grass is not burned by camp stoves or fire pits.

  • How do I get the best camping/parking spot?

    Arrive early. The property opens Thursday, June 13 at noon. Camping and parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our staff will direct you to the proper, designated areas.

  • Do you have tents to rent?

    No, unfortunately, we do not have tents to rent for this event. All attendees will need to bring their camping gear.

  • Can I save space next to my campsite for a friend?

    No, saving parking or camping spots is not allowed. All spots are on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to camp with others, we suggest driving in together.

  • Are there bathhouses in the campground?

    Yes, there are bathhouses with showers, sinks, and toilets located throughout each campground.

  • Can I bring my RV/Trailer?

    Yes, we have a limited amount of RV spots at the festival. Each RV spot must be purchased ahead of time and each has an extra cost. You can purchase your dedicate RV spot when you purchase your tickets. The RV spots are dry camping and do not offer power, water, or septic hook ups.

  • Are there nearby hotels or accommodations?

    Please visit the local CVB websites for a list of hotels in the area: West Virginia Tourism, Visit Southern West Virginia, New River Gorge CVB, Visit Fayetteville, and Beckley Raleigh County CVB.

Health and Safety

Vendors and Merchants

  • Is there a marketplace area?

    Yes, Whizzbangers Ball has two vendor areas boasting a variety of goods and services. Next to the stadium will be our Merchant Market brimming with local and regional crafts, art, and products. Just steps away will also be the Mossy Oak Pavilion featuring goods and services from top fishing and hunting brands like Mossy Oak, Pure Fishing, and more. The pavilion will also play host to Maker’s Corner featuring custom goods from Judith Knife Company, SBR, and Ugly Mugz.

Miscellaneous

  • Will there be promotional photography and videography taken?

    Photographs and/or video will be taken at the festival. By taking part in this event you grant the event organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organizer.

  • Are there charging stations for electronic devices?

    No, there are no designated charging stations for electronic devices.

  • Can I bring a backpack, bag or purse?

    Yes. You may bring a backpack, bag or purse on to the property. All bags, backpacks, purses, etc. will be searched prior to entry.
